Het kasteel, voorzien van enkel glas en vele leegstaande kamers, heeft op zichzelf weinig met duurzaamheid te maken. Het zijn de nieuwe eigenaren, het Zwitserse stel Monica & Nicola, die ruimte bieden voor eco initiatieven. Eén daarvan is de opbouw van een permacultuurtuin en hiervoor huurden zij Sina & Michel in. Stapvoets rijden we over het slingerende pad de heuvel op naar een Transylvanisch ogend kasteel. We kijken elkaar met een vertrokken gezicht aan als we geschraap over ons dak horen.
