Van de zon was geen straal te ontdekken op de dag dat wij onze zonnepanelen gingen installeren. Gelukkig zit er in ons netwerk een vriend met een overdekte werkplaats. Terwijl de regen op het dak kletterde stalden wij ons aangeschafte waar uit om aan de slag te gaan. Een week hiervoor spraken we met Peter de Vries van het bedrijf Independent Solar Solutions. Met een grijns steekt ze haar hand vol natte grond naar me uit. “Ik zag jullie vanuit de tuin al aan komen rijden. Welkom! Ik ben Mathilde”. Zelf loop ik al dagen op sokken in mijn sandalen, maar trek die uit nu ik Mathilde in haar regenlaarzen in de modder zie staan. We volgen haar over een drassig paadje naar beneden.
